KKS day four of Sneak Peaks and a Challenge

Hey there and welcome back for some more Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps sneak peaks. Today we are featuring Annie's latest fabulous creations and you're gonna love them. I think they are definitely one of my favourite release!!

Today is also challenge day and the challenge this week is a sketch.

And here's my take on it....

The paper is from Marcella K, Lemon Drops mat deck. I added a couple of tickets from a Tim Holtz pack. after scrunching them up and adding some distress ink.  For the sentiment, I flipped one over and tried to replicate what the original ticket looked like. Not too shabby. I used my Martha Stewart drippy goo border punch to make it look like dripping butter and then found some Sculpture flowers in my stash from Prima that I thought kinda looked like popcorn.

My girlfriend was here visiting from Vancouver and she really liked this card, and beings her birthday was in June, this card now has a happy new home. Again Happy Belated Birthday Erin. xo

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to pop over to the KKS challenge blog to play along and to see more of this week's challenge.

KKS Sneak Peaks Day three...

Today at Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps we are sharing TWO new sets by the totally talented Emilie Goulet!!! They are super cute!! These ghoulish new sets are called TOO CUTE TO SPOOK 1 & 2!! Each set features THREE cute little people and five coordinating and spooky Halloween sentiment stamps!!

I decided to do an 8x8 layout to showcase Emilie's latest creations. The papers are from a multi themed DCWV paper stack that I got ages ago. Kept it very simple to focus on these cute lil fella's and to the pics once I get around to adding them. But anyway have a look...

Day One of KKS Sneak Peaks...

Hi there, today is day one of Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps sneak peaks. Starting off with the newest Trinkets, and the theme is....Halloween!!! Kinda scary to think that it's really not that far away. Kids will be back in school in just a few short weeks and the Fall festivities will be upon us. :)

But let's just think about Halloween for now. The trinkets come in a set of six and I've made two cards to show you.

I typically just stamp the trinkets onto some coloured paper but this time I've coloured them with my copics. I really like the way they turned out. Very vibrant. I matched the colours with some paper's from an old 4x6 DCWV paper pad. I added some net like ribbon and a bit of wire and curled the ends.

For my second card, again pretty simple. I don't know if you can see it very well but the black piece I embossed with my cobweb Cuttlebug folder, added some bling and voila. Easy Peasy.

Be sure to leave comments along the way one random winner will have the chance to win the new Halloween Trinket set. Check out some more sneak peaks at the KKS challenge blog.

Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you tomorrow.

KKS Challenge 131

Hey there Krafters and welcome to this week's Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps challenge. This week I am the hostess and I've challenged you to use an animal or insect as your image on your cards. Easy enough right? Kimmie has all kinds of fun characters to use.

I have chosen to use these cute little bears from the Lots of Love set 2, and if you are the lucky winner this week Kimmie is giving the winner the whole set. Yeah!!! Right?!!

I made this card not only for the challenge but for my hubby, it was our 9th anniversary on Thursday. He surprised me with an early gift that he thought I might make use of while my girlfriend was here visiting from Vancouver, a couple of zero gravity chairs. I love these chairs, especially this summer cause I'm constantly outside watching my girls playing on their new trampoline. I'll bounce with them too, but then I need a place to rest and catch my breath. lol

The paper's I used are from Bobunny Crazy Love collection. I coloured the image with my copics and inked around the edges before removing it from my spellbinder. I added a couple of hearts, some ribbon and a few pearls and my Happy Anniversary card is complete.

Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to check out the Kraftin' Kimmie's store because she's got a huge sale on that you won't want to miss.

Have a great weekend. :)
