KKS Challenge # 102

Today's Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps challenge is to make a Monochromatic Card. I decided to use Winnie because I love this stamp so much. One of my fav's!! Being a hairstylist this image makes me giggle.

So I used some papers from the Bobunny Garden Girl collection. Lots of rich autumn colours. I don't tend to use a lot of purples in my cards but I really like these papers. More of a plum colour really.

So here's my card...

Winnie comes with the Sentiment "Bad Hair Day doesn't even begin to cover it."

Thanks for stopping by.

Sneak peaks day two...

We're back again to give you another sneak peak of this months Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps.

Today we are featuring the artist Emilie who has created some cute critters. I  decided to show this cute lil bunny "Let's go for a ride"

How cute eh?!! I had gotten these great designer papers from a Dollar Tree in Birch Run this past summer but they had no name on them. Really great colours! I love teal, brown and pink. I used a Stampin Up sentiment as well as there scalloped punch, but I also added a spellbinder loopy die cut behind it. I added some star dust stickles around the image and created a bit of a snowflake border with my Martha Stewart punch. Pretty simple, but that's kinda my style.

So I forgot to mention yesterday, that you have the chance to win some stamps. Simply leave a comment and you could be the lucky winner to win all of Emilie's five new images. The more comments you leave, the better your chances.

Good Luck, and pop back tomorrow for Day Three... :)

KKS Challenge #99

This week's Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps challenge is to make your card Sparkle and Shine.
Easy Peasy! Right!? I love my bling, so no challenge here.  I did tone it down this week, it could have gotten out of control. I already had Joseph and Mary coloured so I didn't want to add too much Pizazz to the Nativity scene. So I kept it simple by adding a bit of stickles to the star and a bit of shimmery ribbon.

To see more of this week's challenge cards, pop on over to the KKS Challenge blog to see what the rest of the Krafty Gals created.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadian girls!!
Don't eat too much... ;)

KKS Challenge #98

This week's Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps challenge is to do some paper piecing on your card.

I had not yet had the chance to colour Mizuki from our June release and came across some paper in my stash that I thought would work perfectly with her. I inked around most of the edges with some Tim Holtz distress ink. Added some decorative corner pieces with a cuttlebug die cut and I handmade the flower with a SU punch layering technique and spritzed it with some Tattered Angels glimmer mist.

I also used a Fiskars border punch to create the lace edge and finished it off by adding a few gems.

Thanks so much for stopping by and if you'd like to see more of this week's KKS challenge head over to the Challenge blog to see what the rest of the Krafty girls came up with.

Have a great weekend.
