KKS Challenge #59

This weeks Kraftin Kimmie challenge was to have a dude in ours lives make a card. I asked my husband Mark if he were up to the challenge and he asked me..."do I get to use the good stuff?" lol. He's made me cards in the past but I guess I limited him on what supplies he could and couldn't use. God forbid he use some embellishment or paper I had been hoarding for months and it's no longer available. *hee, hee* what ever would I do?!!

I think he did a fabulous job, he may have even coloured Clint better than me. I can't wait to see what the other dudes came up with. Check out the Krafty Girl challenge blog. It should be interesting...

KKS Challenge # 58

If you live in southwestern Ontario I think we can all relate to shoveling "Miles" and miles of snow. Correct?!! Ironically this lil fella's name is Shoveling Miles. He doesn't look very happy does he? And how perfect is this sentiment, really it couldn't be any more suitable.

I'm not sure exactly how much snow we've had but I think it's well over 100cm...and that's in 3 days. It's craziness. I've heard that all Home Depots and Rona's were completely sold out of snow blowers.

Anyway, this weeks Kraftin Kimmie challenge was to use manly colours. So I used some kraft for my card base (one of my new fav's) and the designer paper is from Bobunny's Midnight Frost collection. Lots of blues and snowflakes in this 6 x 6 paper pad.  I added a few buttons with some twine and the sentiment is from Kimmie's Sassy sentiments.

Check out what the other Krafty girls came up with go here.
Have a great day!

Sneak peeks day two...

Welcome back for day two of Kraftin Kimmie's sneak peeks. Today I used the Snowmobilin' Fun by Steven Leary. Aren't they adorable?!!
I coloured Miles and Maisie with my copics trying to match up to this really cute paper from Cottage Christmas/Imaginisce, perfect for this image. I added some polar white flower soft for the snow. The sentiment fit so nicely on this slider that I made with a cuttlebug die, and a bit of chocolate ribbon.

For more sneak peeks head over to the Krafty Girl challenge blog.

Sneak Peeks.

Howdy Partner. Meet Clint, isn't he cool?!! One of many great stamps from Kraftin Kimmie's latest release that I'm more then happy to help out with, because I'm a guest Krafty girl again for the month of December. Woo hoo, it's like an early Christmas for me. Get to play with all kinds of new rubber. ;)

This will also be the second card for this Sunday's Copic Advance class at Srappin Great Deals. Surprise. Sorry I couldn't show it to those of you attending the class sooner. But isn't Clint worth the wait.

Now hop on over to the Kraftin Girl challenge blog to see some more sneek peeks.

KKS Challenge # 57

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow. Can you guess what our challenge is this week. Hmmmm, snow?!! lol
I'm happy to be back as a Guest Designer for Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. I absolutely love these images.

So for this weeks challenge I chose to colour Miles. Of course I used my copics, but I must say both my daughter's have been colouring KK images with me this past week. And they're doing an awesome job with the Crayola's. I'll have to take a picture to show off their work.
Anyway back to the card. I added a bit of white flock around Miles hood and his cuffs. Gotta keep Miles warm, he's sitting on ice for pete's sake. Hee hee

I used my nesties to cut him out and inked around the edges, and to frame the card I used my Martha Stewart snow border punch. Perfect for this challenge don't ya think.

Pretty simple, nothing too fussy. I have many more Christmas cards to make, so simple is good. Otherwise I'll never get them done.
Be sure to check out the KKS challenge Blog to see what the other Krafty Girls are up to.
